HERE'S WHAT TO EXPECT . . .
First Time?
Walking into your first lifestyle event can feel exciting, intriguing, and maybe even a little intimidating.
That's perfectly normal.
Many guests tell us they had butterflies before attending their first aNML event. The good news? Those nerves usually begin to disappear once you walk through the door, settle in, and realize there's no expectation to be anything other than yourself.
Our goal isn't to pressure anyone into an experience.
Our goal is to create an environment where you can relax, connect, explore at your own pace, and enjoy the evening in whatever way feels right for you.

YOUR EXPERIENCE IS YOURS
There is no “right way” to experience Winter Escape.
Some guests spend the evening:
-
Meeting new people and reconnecting with friends
-
Enjoying food and drinks
-
Dancing to the DJ
-
Relaxing in the social lounges or heated spas
-
Receiving or exchanging massage
-
Watching and taking in the atmosphere
-
Exploring the expanded dungeon and kink experience
-
Enjoying conversations and discovering new connections
Others may eventually choose to explore more intimate experiences.
Both—and everything in between—are completely normal.
Some guests come simply because they're curious. Some remain in the social areas all evening. Others discover they're more comfortable exploring than they expected.
You decide what your evening looks like.
THERE IS NEVER ANY PRESSURE
One of the biggest misconceptions about lifestyle events is that everyone is expected to participate sexually.
Nothing could be further from the truth.
Your ticket gets you through the door. It doesn't create an obligation to do anything once you're inside.
Socialize. Dance. Observe. Relax. Explore. Participate. Don't participate.
All are valid ways to experience Winter Escape.
You are never expected to do anything that doesn't feel right for you, your partner, or your boundaries.
“No, thank you” is always a complete sentence.
THREE PRINCIPLES GUIDE EVERY aNML EVENT
CONSENT
Every interaction begins with mutual interest and enthusiastic agreement.
Consent is clear, ongoing, and can be withdrawn at any time.
Being present at a lifestyle event never implies consent.
COMMUNICATION
The best experiences begin with honest conversations.
Whether you're communicating with a partner, someone you've just met, or one of our hosts, clear communication creates confidence, comfort, and trust.
Ask. Talk. Listen.
RESPECT
Respect is non-negotiable.
Everyone deserves kindness, courtesy, privacy, and respect for their personal boundaries.
No one is judged for participating.
And no one is judged for choosing not to.
WHAT THE EVENING LOOKS LIKE
Every aNML event develops its own personality, but Winter Escape is intentionally designed to unfold rather than operate on a rigid schedule.
7:00 PM — DOORS OPEN
Check in, receive your wristband, settle in, grab something to eat or drink, explore the venue, and start meeting people.
There is no need to arrive exactly at 7:00 PM.
Come when you're comfortable.
As the evening develops, the music, conversations, social spaces, massage areas, spas, dungeon, and other environments begin finding their own rhythm.
Some guests dance.
Some talk for hours.
Some explore.
Some simply find a comfortable place and enjoy watching the night unfold.
There is no itinerary you have to complete.
2:00 AM — EVENT CLOSES
Stay for an hour.
Stay until the end.
Your experience is yours.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
This may be our most frequently asked question.
The short answer?
Whatever makes you feel confident and comfortable.
Winter Escape takes place entirely indoors in a climate-controlled venue, but it is December—so dress appropriately for your arrival and departure.
Layers are your friend.
Once inside, there is no designated “dress-down” time. Some guests remain dressed for the entire evening. Others change when they feel comfortable.
You may see everything from stylish casual and evening attire to lingerie, fitted looks, sensual outfits, or something considerably more relaxed as the night develops.
For guests who want to lean into the Winter Escape aesthetic, think:
Black. Midnight blue. Champagne. Gold. Silver. Winter white. Deep jewel tones.
Velvet, satin, metallic accents, elegant winter textures, and subtle sparkle all fit beautifully.
But this is inspiration—not a dress code.
Wear what makes you feel like your best self.
CHANGING & STORAGE
Changing areas will be available inside the venue.
Individual storage cubbies are approximately 12" × 12", so plan accordingly.
If you're bringing a change of clothes, shoes, toiletries, or other personal items, we recommend a small duffel, backpack, or soft-sided bag that can fit comfortably within the cubby space.
Please avoid oversized luggage or bags that cannot be stored securely.
WHAT IF I'M JUST CURIOUS?
Perfect.
Curiosity is how many people begin.
You don't need a checklist of things you're ready to try before attending Winter Escape.
Come meet people.
Ask questions.
Observe.
Learn.
Discover what interests you—and what doesn't.
You may leave having explored something completely new.
Or you may leave having simply met some wonderful people and enjoyed a great party.
Both are successful nights.
WHAT FIRST-TIME GUESTS OFTEN TELL US
After attending their first aNML event, we repeatedly hear some variation of:
“We were much more comfortable than we expected.”
“Everyone was incredibly respectful.”
“The conversations were one of the best parts.”
“We wish we'd done this sooner.”
Those reactions are exactly why we put so much emphasis on atmosphere, communication, consent, and allowing people to move at their own pace.
AFTER THE EVENT
Sometimes an incredible evening doesn't immediately end emotionally when the party ends physically.
After a highly social, intimate, exciting, or stimulating experience, some people experience a temporary shift in mood or energy commonly referred to as Event Drop.
We've created a dedicated resource explaining what that can feel like, ways people care for themselves afterward, and additional resources for those who want to learn more.
WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU
Whether you're simply curious, attending your first lifestyle event, or already know this community feels like home, we want your Winter Escape experience to feel welcoming, comfortable, and entirely your own.
If you have questions before purchasing tickets, reach out.
We're always happy to help.
We look forward to welcoming you to Winter Escape.
